Ana Birca
Art Historian working for the Romanian Ministry of Culture. She is one of the main authorities on Maramures wooden architecture and has written for Metaneira the text of the book called “The Spires of Heaven , a Journey Through the Wooden Churches of Maramures”
Tereza Sinigalia
Art Historian working for the Romanian Ministry of Culture. She is an expert on Orthodox iconography and collaborated with UNESCO during the restoration of the Probota monastery. She has contributed the texts for the book called: “Bucovina, A Travel Guide to Romania’s Region of Painted Monasteries”
John Allen
Writer of some of the most important UNESCO publications. As a native English speaker, he has contributed to reviewing the text of both “The Restoration of the Probota Monaster” and “Bucovina, A Travel Guide to Romania’s Region of Painted Monasteries”.
Lise Pellettier
Sociologist. She has visited the Maramures region to gain first-hand information on the local traditions and cultural changes after the Communism. She is presently collaborating with Metaneira at the preparation of the Maramures guidebook.
Paul Buciuta
Photographer. His work has been published in the book “The Restoration of the Probota Monastery”. He has taken the photographs for most of the Metaneira publications.
Marius Vasilica
Press Photographer specialised on travel reports. His photographs cover political, social, cultural topics in conflict zones too (special reporter in Bosnia, Kosovo, Thechenia, Gaza, Afghanistan and Irak). He is presently collaborating with Metaneira at the preparation of the Maramures guidebook.
